A cockalorum is a 'self important little man'.....(a Lil' Bush?

My hubby found it in the dictionary last night and started laughing his a*s off. He insists full credit, and I happily oblige.


If you agree, K & R to start a new trend, a new title for the little big man, as in

"That guy is a real cockalorum!"

7. I figured since so many people didn't think a regular word could be sexist, what the hey? Besides..

There aren't really any sexist names for men, except to call them out as sexists, like "pig", "male chauvinist pig"....so how about this?! It calls him out nicely as a self important pig.

Plus, it's funny as all get out.

You'd be amazed at how your eyes are opened to sexism as it relates to men from another perspective.

There are loads of sexist names for men- and sexist attitudes that cripple and wound men more than you'd ever imagine. I can see how male chauvinists are created, in part by the way society and we women, (at times) treat them.

I don't mean to dis- your humor- rather I'd like to encourage you to use a wider angle in your view, and to examine your own stereotypes and prejudices.
