Axelrod's similarity to Kenneth Starr: My opinion
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 11:15 AM by caesartoday
Axelrod suggested that Hillary had done something improper during Whitewater.

Since only extreme right-wingers such as Rush Limbaugh would imply such thing, I conclude that the Obama campaign is imitating Kenneth Star.

The Clinton were absolved of any wrong-doing in a thorough investigation.

On ABC This Week, Top Obama strategist references Whitewater. AXELROD: " I honestly -- with all due respect, I would think that the Clinton campaign would be the last person to be wanting to characterize any real estate transaction as unusual, but anyway, George, I'm sorry."

3. Yes, the facts are in the original comment
THe fact that Axelrod suggested that the Clintons did anything wrong in the real estate transaction now called "Whitewater". It's a witchhunt that only Kenneth Star and Limbaugh and company ventured to pursue.

5. Watergate?
Do you mean Whitewater?

And yes, if Axelrod raised the specter of Whitewater, he was indeed imitating Starr.
