Sick, I say, Sick.

What's with these Obama characters. And half of them think they're funny.

What a bunch of losers.

There's plenty of Obama bashing threads to go around, and a few smear threads that need to be alerted. Such is life.

I don't happen to think both candidates will make good presidents. And talking about the reasons I think so is completely fair. I've added reasons to my list as the Clinton campaign has progressed and turned absurd in its scorched earth, screw the party, its all about ego campaign.

As I said before, Alert threads that break the rules. Beyond that, its a primary - walk it off.

22. lol....why do you fly an Obama avatar if you "don't happen
to think both candidates will make good presidents?"

You don't see me flying any Hillary colors, do you?

That's because in the California primary, even after he dropped out.

However, I have the backs of the Hillary supporters because the Obama people have been and continue to be more obnoxious.

Talk about "pathetic tactics."

24. Because at 4:30 in the morning my english fails me.
That should be I don't think both candidates will equally make good candidates - in other words, I think one is better than the other.

The Obmama supporters are by no means more obnoxious than Clinton supporters. Some of the most horrific things have come from the mouths of both sides.

The problem is that Obama supporters outnumber Hillary supporters here 3 to 1, so there's a disproportionate amount of stuff.

Like. I. Said. Alert the stuff that breaks the rules. Everything else is fair game.

63. And we thank you very much
for having our backs.

I too supported Edwards initially but changed after hearing attack after attack against Clinton.

I am the mother of a young, impressionable daughter. If I sat by and allowed those attacks to happen against a decent candidate without speaking out it would give my daughter the wrong message. It would tell her that it's ok to bash a woman because she's a woman. And I refuse to allow my daughter to believe that.

Like I said-I started out as an Edwards supporter. (As did a fellow coworker who is voting in his first-ever election. He became an American citizen last summer. After Edwards dropped he gave his support over to HRC.) Personally, I like Kucinich the most but he's a bit of a pipe dream so I went with someone a bit more "known". I never had a problem with HRC but she wasn't my favorite. I only went to her after I saw what was done to her time and again. After my daughter made comments about the things said about her I knew that I, as a woman and a mother, had to give my child a better example. She had to learn that women are more than capable of running offices and being leaders.

19. So your ad hominem is somehow better?
Hillary deserves the invective. She has lowered the tone of political debate far lower than even the Republicans themselves. Look at the lovin' between McCain and Huckabee. Isn't it embarrassing to you that your beloved candidate has less class than either McCain or Huckabee? She's the one who is sick--her insatiable hunger for raw power is disgusting and vile. She ought to be ashamed and so ought every single one of her supporters who defend her manifestly underhanded tactics.

Go ahead, distance yourself from her tactics. If you don't, I think that you should probably think about your own morality.

Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 09:29 AM by SoCalDem
That might be the reason..

and if someone supports him, the HRC people automatically perceive that support as bashing her

When I see an HRC thread, it's very often a chest-thumping ,neener-neener thread with a lot of "odd" numbers & predictions...and as soon as someone comments on them, it's "Katie, bar the door"..

The HRC people are not shy about lashing out, so perhaps they should be able to manage being rebutted by another anonymous "internet(s) person"..

Part of our overall "problem" is that the democratic party set up the primary system the way they did.. republicans' winner-take-all set-up guarantees a nominee , in pretty quick order. By trying to "be fair", we created this dilemma..Normally, ONE candidate has an overwhelming money-advantage, and the rest fall away because they can no longer keep up...but this time around, we have two people who CAN vacuum up vast quantities of cash, and the delegate totals are not that far apart, so of course they remain neck-and-neck..and no one wants to lose..

A true fighter is not defined by a "dish it out but can't take it" whiny-ass attitude. If Hillary goes negative on Obama, Obama supporters and the democratic party by extension, people are going to react. Still support Hillary? Then suck it up.

49. Didn't You Get The "Memo"
The greatest and most significant civic movement of our life time is happening right now..... This is our time, This is our moment....

Or haven't you not been paying attention.

I was reading post after post a few weeks ago; It was ok for many Hillary supporters to bash the hell out of Obama.... Well what are you crying about...

You wanted to spark up debate... Well now you have it... Don't blame the other side if you don't have what you need to win...

Besides, Hillary is doing plenty of that already....

Trying to make Hillary's case of being ready on day one, with not a single reference to experience she so claims to have, sounds like babaling.

These guys would get totally destroyed by their own miscalculations... Because there is a lot of garbage coming out of the Clinton campaign... The American People have seen enough garbage... We're in desparate need of something new... Something good... Something we'd feel good about bringing into our home... We normally throw the garbage out and leave it by the side of the road...

If the Clintons think they can win by bringing this filthy garbage into our homes, they are seriously mistaken...

56. Whaddaya mean we "think" we're funny?
If there's one thing that characterizes the Hillary backers, it is their utter lack of a sense of humor.

Which is OK, because it makes it that much more fun to pull their chains.

57. Well, I've Gotta Say,
I've tried to e-mail the powers that be (here), and they're letting it stand, so far anyway. A few obvious threads get locked, very, very few.

61. 9 out of 10 threads are, perhaps, ...
... not Hillary bashings so much as impassioned defenses of the Democratic party and its ideals.

It really does look like she's throwing the whole party under the bus. Many of us are upset about this.
