Gore for President, Obama for VP, HRC for first Supreme Court Appointment...
Edited on Sat Mar-08-08 01:52 AM by WCGreen
I know it's fantasy land, but hey, what else have we got to do until Pennsylvania...

At least that is what the Media would have us believe, nothing matters until Pennsylvania...

2. I like this fantasy. Al Gore is like the Godfather to me now.
I wish we could make him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Let Obama get 8 years of experience under a successful Gore administration as his VP. Then he can run for president. We just need to hope Gore keeps his dick in his pants.

What would Hillary want with the SC? There's no money in it.

6. I know it's hypothetical, but I could live with that....
If it avoids a nasty convention fight, I would be all for it. Let's face it, at this point, there's going to have to be some sort of a deal made. And Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton isn't going to happen. And besides, Clinton brings absolutely nothing to an Obama ticket. And there are too many bad feelings within both camps. And Obama being a young man, can run again in '16.

GORE/OBAMA....

8. Problem is
Obama will get the nomination on the first vote, unless Hillary can come up with about 100-175 miracles, or delegates.

Frankly, I would be more likely to seat Edwards on the SCOTUS than Hillary. I admired her much more before she got into "the rules don't matter" mode. I don;t think that is the proper attitude of a supreme court justice.

22. That'd be OK too
but I went from having a hard time deciding between Obama and Clinton, to really mistrusting Clinton after Edwards withdrew and I had to make a choice between them.

I am not the strongest of Obama supporters. Hillary reminds me more and more about everything I have detested in Washington in the past seven years. She is somewhere between Nader and Bush on my likability and trust scale at this time.

It bugs me that she could turn me from possible supporter to someone I really can't stand to see on TV.

28. Where....
Jesus, I guess you really don't care about the future of this country...

You would honestly prefer McCain to Obama or Gore...

Jesus Christ, you can't be serious...

Who do you think McCain would nominate for Supreme Court...

Put in charge of all the regulatory commissions and the Cabinet...

Why even bother posting on this site then...

29. I didn't say McCain
I could never vote for him, but I'll give Nader a second look or I may just stay home. I don't like Obama nor do I think that he's prepared to be president at this point in time. If he had waited until he actually had built his resume I would have considered him, but no one who's barely gotten into the senate is fit to be president. I don't give a rat's tail end about his years in the state legislature, that's the minor leagues.

16. No thank you. I won't vote for Gore or any nominee installed
by party insiders. He does NOT deserve the nomination. Not for one fucking second. He didn't put himself into the fray. Obama and Clinton are fighting for what they believe. I'll vote for either though obviously I prefer Obama. I will not under any circumstance vote for Gore. I will work against any such scenario.

The real cult around these parts has long been the Goramania. It's bizarre and a real turn off.

20. Hilarious, the Supreme Court is often more powerful than the dang Presidency.
And yet people here are supportive of "evil shrill bitch Hillary" having that position?

Fucking hilarious.

She'd be great on the SC mind you, I'm just talking about perceptions here.

truth is - though I personally loath the woman - I think she'd be hellishly effective in either of those positions.

Hillary would never accept a Supreme Court position. It's way too much in the background: not enough adoration and news time.

But I could see the Senators that are Super Delegate pledge to make her Majority Leader...

36. How is HRC qualified for the supreme court.
Shouldn't a highest judge of the land have had some experience... being a judge? And with constitutional law? I know that's not the case with Justice....hmm.... Roberts was it? But I don't take Bush appointments as good counter examples.
