I saw an article in Salon about it being good that Obama and Hillary are duking it out to the last
minute.
I'm sorry I don't have the link, but the writer said that since this has been going on, McCain has turned into a non-person as far as the media is concerned. He can barely get press. When it rolls around the GE the only candidate known will be the Democrat.
2. I agree...although the second poster doesn't...it makes sense...
and has been echoed by some top Demos, even Joe Biden...the only people whining are the BO supporters who don't understand that this is a race, not a coronation.
3. I think that's a little pollyanish. Mccain's a nonperson whose negatives aren't going up while
Obama's go up. Hillary's are staying about same, mostly because of where she started. Maybe if Hillary & Obama were having a lovefest, that article would be true. I can't see how all this back & forth trashing is helping anyone but mccain. Just mho.
Plus, many righties hate him with a passion. As far as they are concerned the Republicans lost the election when Huckabee conceded.
I really would not worry too much. The ground game being built by both campaigns is what counts and will net us lots and lots of house and senate seats, not to mention plenty of entry level seats to start working on the next wave of "more and better Democrats."
