This board is not representative of much of America...especially women voters
so, we will see.

This race has not been conducted fairly from the start, with so much sexism and bias against Hillary from not only the media but some of our own party leaders who've all tried to say she will lose since New Hampshire.

At least the media got a little bit of it's due on SNL. They have behaved like baboons and given Obama a pass.

That isn't good for us, because he will have to face the music in a GE anyway.

But fair isn't fair here, or in the 'higher circles', who think they will say what's what, not the voters.

Even now, so many of you are saying it doesn't even matter if she wins today.

It is absurd.

former republican... fed up with GWB and his anti-GBLT policies.. and now he's making plans to leave the country (because he knows that Obama will get the nod and then lose in the GE)

He told me that the democratic party has a "super power": losing elections.

Obviously, the sexists are invisible, and can only be seen by a handful of people. Pity that those people can never actually provide any evidence of this supposed systemic sexism.

18. I'm Sexist Too! I Proudly Voted for Obama in January
Hillary Clinton is not a victim of gender discrimination;anyone who tries to paint her as a victim doesn't understand what a ruthless fighter she is. Should I vote for Hillary Clinton because she's a woman and I'm a woman? Hell, no! I voted for Obama back in January because I thought he represented the best opportunity for this country to get back its own his feet. I don't care that he doesn't have the 35 years of experience Hellcat claims she has! He's refreshing and positive, unlike Hillary with her sarcasm and vicious attacks. I don't want the Clintons back in the White House. I want a change! And in case anyone thinks I must be one of Obama's college-age supporters, think again! I'm in my forties, and supposedly since I'm a middle-aged woman, I should be jumping on the Hillary bandwagon.

46. That is HOGWASH. Reagan was behind Ford all the way to the convention....
it's happened before and this race is just over a hundred delegates apart.

You know something is wrong in this party when the sanest person on Tweety's panel is Pat Buchanan, who reminded everyone of this fact and looked at them like they were bonkers that she couldn't stay in the race or win it.

Sexism has been a problem in this party for a long time....but little discussed and hidden, because women are a huge block of this parties voters. We are often taken for granted, and this time it is ugly. Where has our party been on the sexism used against one of our candidates? NOWHERE. SILENT. That's where. It's disgraceful.

I mean, we've had to suffer such offensive garbage from the mouths of even supposed liberal media pundits, and JUNK like commercials that show a woman debating a MOP.

People trying to force Senator Clinton out of this race, as if the huge number of women who've turned out for her don't matter at all are not being democratic.

I never wanted Clinton and been for Obama from day one. So I am in the wrong place from what the polls say. I just do not think being around a long time makes any one great in this job plus being around the WH as a wife hardly counts. It is these nuts that have been around for ever that have made this mess in the first place. Bush has been around his father since Chaney has been around his father. Luck will be with us if Jeb does not step up as McCain's vice.

17. DU is really quite a blend of people, but as it is everywhere else, the
loudest voices SEEM like they're the majority. I don't really think that's true anywhere. O've been on DU for a lot of years, and there are a LOT of rational thinkers here. People who look at each situation and post logical arguments. Right now, most of them are just sitting back and letting the radicals shoot at each other.

I used to spend HOURS each day on DU, reading all the posts and talking to people who have become friends. Recently, I've been spending less than 0 minutes because I'm not interested in flam wars and screaming matches.

I HOPE after the nominee is decided here will be at least a little while of normal here again. By Sept/Oct I'm probably going to just stay away and come back for the celebration in Nov!

this board really doesn't seem to represent much of America. Women everywhere are rallying for Hillary. We were a little slow off the start because we didn't realize she was going to get robbed until just lately. Hopefully, it's not too late. I don't think I'm sexist but when there is a capable woman in the running, I do think it is our turn as well as hers. The guys have had their fair share of time to screw the country up. She does have seniority in the party and when a lot of those young people pushing for Obama get older and have to train a youngster to take over their job, seniority might start to mean something to them. She is just as good an option and knowing how many foreign countries admired the Clintons, I think it will help regain our credibility overseas. Especially if she sends Bill around to do some fence mending.

63. Mathematically, it doesn't matter. HRC would need a miracle to catch up.
I haven't seen the sexism you mention - the media repeated her theme that she had the best campaign team as if it were gospel truth, for months and months and months, turning a campaign approach into plain fact.

68. Voting for someone..
.. because they are female is just as sexist as voting against them for the same reason.

Sexism is not why HRC is losing.

69. would you defend all women equally against sexism,
or just the ones you like or approve of?

I've had this question up a couple of times in response to posts like yours, and get no answers.

Do you think it is as grievous to say awful sexist stuff against Ann Coulter, Monica Lewinski, etc., as it is against Hillary?
