Youth is the future
Obama connects with the young. I've got three teens and hear it all the time. To be conservative is to cling to the old ways. To be liberal is to find new ways. My kids are already smarter than I am, in tech things. The future belongs to the young. I'd like some good, cheap health care in the near future.

1. Being smart is different than being wise.

7. Wisdom is not equivalent with age.
Edited on Mon Mar-03-08 11:58 PM by Ichingcarpenter
when you make mistakes and won't admit them

THAT IS WHAT A CHILD DOES
and they can expect more with their elders

not a presidential candidate that voted for war and death.

8. How about blaming the Iraq war on Bush for a change?
Or is that too tough to swallow?

The Iraq war? I guess not. You must have read (or had someone read to you) the history of it on an Obama leaflet.

"You must have read (or had someone read " the Iraqi report to go to war.

She didn't......even a child knows that is what the assignment was
as

A US SENATOR.

19. So, as far as your concerned, Bush isn't the one to blame, right?
That's "old politics", right?

23. Blame, is your continued non contributions that you have done
on this site over the years.

That never got to the front page.

No, news stories, no editorial comment, not even a OP you started.

Maybe one or two, but your wisdom has shown through over time.

27. OK.... I'm ready
I know your comments
for the last 4 years supported your ambivalence
of substantial contribution to this site.

Now, do you want to use language and facts
to back up your casual observation.

Listen, my stupid ass, doesn't' talk
as well as your rantings.

3. If Obama dosn't get in then it will be back to smoke filled rooms
we go back to the old smoke filled rooms where deals are done with lobbyists, oil/gas pipe line contracts etc. Keeping the people in constant fear.

The young deserve more than the self interests of the old guard of the Democratic Party. What we have experienced with Obama is like taking down the Berlin wall and ridding the old guard. A Revolution baby!

16. *shrugs* I am 28. Obviously too old to know anything about what is
"cool" or "hip."

But again, I was JUST AT A YOUNG DEMOCRATS OF AMERICA MEETING THIS WEEKEND AND THERE WERE SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS. Deal with it.

(No one supported Mike Gravel which is such a shame.)

21. I do not support anyone for the Presidency. I have not campaigned
I have not contributed any money, nor will I.

But I thought it sad that poor Senator Gravel did not have any supporters. I mean he has been getting a vote here and there!

Old people die, young people replace them.

Then they get old and die too.

Did you just realize this?
