Okay, I have to offer an apology. Strike that, I want to offer an apology.
I made a mistake in my thread earlier. I misread something, and thought that once it was down to just Obama that he would have to stop fund-raising if he was going to use public finance for the general election.
I came up with a strategy that I thought would allow him to continue to fundraise and still use public finance in the fall. (in an attempt to shut McCain up.)
I was wrong on that, and being wrong on that threw my whole idea out of whack.
However, I would like to say that the post was made with nothing but good intentions in mind. I stated so in it very clearly, so I thought. And still I got attacked all over the place.
Fine, I made a mistake, but making a mistake does NOT make me a liar. There was no intent to deceive or mislead anyone. There is a difference. We are all human beings capable of making mistakes.
And also, I wasn't throwing anyone under the bus, and I wasn't using anyone as a doormat. If that is how some choose to see it, then I can't do anything about it. Everything we type on here is open for interpretation I suppose. I just ask that when you read something I type, please don't assume I'm trying to attack someone. I know that goes on a lot here, but not EVERYONE is out to start shit.
When it comes down to it, I just want us to win this time. Is that so wrong? And after what we have had to deal with for the last 7 years, I don't care if we have to get a LITTLE dirt on our hands this time to make sure we don't get screwed over again. Do you REALLY want another Bush in the White House?
To those who thought I was deliberately trying to piss them off, I am sorry. That was not my intent, and I am sorry if it came across that way. I guess in the future I will read my threads over a couple extra times to make sure it doesn't come across that way again.
