Apparently Obama gave a press conference today
Edited on Sat Feb-23-08 06:27 PM by senseandsensibility
According to a thread in GDP, he got off some pretty good lines. Why isn't CNN playing it every half hour like they are Hillary's comments?

I just watched a segment on CNN in which the Republican strategist, the "anchor" and the reporter all gave McCain helpful hints on how to attack Obama. So they do have time to talk about him.

3. Good question; I wish some of the Clinton supporters would realize
how partisan CNN is. I get called out when I mention it, but it's still the truth.

4. I think its rating as much as anything.
This is just what CNN wants and why they try and stoke the flames during the debates. It gets ratings when they fight and HRC attacks with 'Xerox' cracks.

5. I think if Barack had reacted
with histrionics they would be replaying it over and over again...HRC just sealed her own fate.

9. there wasn't much to see. he calmly and rationally answered her charges.
He said there was nothing factually innacurate in the flyers, and it was curious that this outburst came today when the flyers had been out for days if not weeks already. and that while the newspaper made a correction about the word "boon," it did not come out until after the flyers were sent, and anyway it did not alter the fact that her positions were stated accurately. Then someone asked him whether children should drink soda pop in schools and he said it was something that we should examine, although he himself has to admit he drank 3 or 4 Mountain Dews a day when he was in school. And nobody ever told him that stuff had caffeine in it.

14. And Twinkies.
He was a Mountain Dew & Twinkie lover. Hillary will have the attack ads out on that front tomorrow.

16. yeah it sucks for us...
but I think the media attack will be too little too late. Obama I believe is already too far ahead for their attacks to be effective.

Might effect the GE though.
