26. That's what I just heard from the analysts
on the BBC- a professor of political science and some local pundit. They both said it had the flavor of a concession speech.

2. It certainly appeared to be a concession speech
She pretty much told Obama he has the victory.

18. It made me sad
I am an Obama supporter and I'll be thrilled if he gets the nomination, but moments like that make me feel like I'll be sad to see her concede if that's what ends up happening. I am not sure if it was meant to be valedictory or not, but if it was, it was classy, and bumped up my opinion of her a few points.

Wolfson thinks that is where she took things back.

But I could be wrong and that would be lovely.

It seems only Obama supporters heard "concession."

14. the end came before that
When they asked the crisis question she could have literally buried him - I expected it, he probably did, the audience probably did - and she didn't. And that impressed me even more than her grace at the end of the debate. She's not going to damage him as the nominee. She's not going to split the party. She's not going to run a scorched earth policy. And I respect her enormously for that.

Good fight, Senator Clinton. And good ending.

17. She is as gracious a candidate as we have ever, or will ever see
and I am still pulling for her to take the VP position.

She could add so much to Barack's ticket.

19. I agree.
Her closing comment started strong, and I thought the debate would have ended favorably for her, but her last few words... to basically say, "No matter what happens, I'll be okay." sounded like a concession. When he shook her hand it was like him saying to her, "Good job. It was a pleasure going on this journey with you, but here is where we part ways."

This wasn't her best performance in a debate. This was one of Obama's better performances, and if you've seen any of the past debates you can see just how much he has improved. Her heart just didn't seem in it. She seemed to lack the confidence she once had. Not good signs.

My mom saw it that way too
She saw it as HRC saying she knew she wasn't going to win, so let's go out on a high note. I'm not sure I saw it that way.

22. No. It was a moment of honesty about the long road they both have travelled
It seems to be going on for ever but they both know that it won't. Hillary acknowledged that, and she actually showed leadership by pointing us toward the finish line when we all will be coming together and we all will unite there when we do so.

More people might have thought her closing remarks sincere.
