Reality Check: If this primary fight goes to the DNC, what will happen?
What is your opinion?

Will our nominee kick the snot out of McCain in the GE?

Will our nominee break even with McCain and we will have another squeaker election thrown by rigging it 'just enough' (just like 2000 and 2004)?

Will our nominee get the snot kicked out of them by McCain because we used up all of our gas in the Primaries?

What are your thoughts?

1. If the one who wins most delegates through primaries/caucuses wins then it is OK, if not it is shit

2. Agree -- I hope that those whose candidate doesn't garner those delegates
agree and accept that as being fair, too.

3. what do you mean by OK?
OK in the sense that we'll still have plenty of time to raise money for a national campaign, build the ground crew, unify a highly fractured base (Hillary vs Barack, whoever it is) and then mount a convincing fight against the GOP and take our nominee to the Oval Office?

That OK or something else?

4. There are no delegates in Florida. They were sanctioned.
They were told that early on, and defied the rules anyway. There are zero delegates in Florida.

From instigator to victim. It was a Dem who introduced the early primary bill in Florida.

6. I think you misunderstood my question.
I understand that you think this can't go to the convention, but given the stubbornness of both sides, I can see emense pressure for the one lagging behind to fight it out to the bitter end no matter what the cost, rules and majority have to say about it.

I see daily calls from Hillary Clinton supporters to 'fight it to the end' and Obama supporters saying the same thing. So, based on that, there is a real possibility this could go to the convention.

So, I'm saying here, if it goes to the convention, when we will defiantly have a nominee, what are our chances against the GOP at that time?

5. No $ to DNC Unless They Follow Pledged Delegates
We should let the superdelegates know that we will not donate a single dollar to the DNC or State Committees unless they follow the will of the voters. That means voting for whichever candidate has received the largest number of elected/pledged delegates across the country.

We can easily direct our donations directly to candidates, and cut out the middlemen.
