Name change amnesty - will it happen after the primary or after the election?
In 2004, Skinner granted a name change amnesty for people with kerry, dean, edwards, whoever else the Dem was running, as well as stupid names. It allowed for post number to be kept without resetting it to 0. I am wondering if there are people who are willing to participate in it, and what would it be?

Also, the '04 amnesty forced namechangers to keep their old names in red just above the signature line something like "Soandso was soandso04", so be prepared. I have always been the original HawkeyeX, and would never go through the name change amnesty.

Skinner, if you can answer the question as to _when_ you will begin (if any) the amnesty - will it be soon after we get the nomination for the Democratic President or will it have to wait till after General Election?

Name change amnesty veterans, please post your feedback and how much life was different after you changed the name?

I know at least *ONE* who's waiting to change his/her name (you know who you are! :hi:)
