Dear Mr Rove:

It is well known now that Mr. Bush is experiencing credibility problems. Each ad that is aired and each attack that is financed using the $200 million war chest which attacks using a complete falsehood (all ads to date in the current election cycle, which have so far cost the re-election capaign roughly $40 million or 20% of the total chest) are backfiring miserably as they are debunked by people on the Internet and in the media. The net effect of these lies is to worsen the credibility the pResident is experiencing, and to allow President (sorry premature there) Kerry to run his campaign with little expenditure. Kerry is making "unfortunate gaffes" which are getting picked up and played ad nauseam by the media (again without costing his campaign one penny).

Please keep up the good work!

Nation's Direction Prompts Voters' Concern, Poll Finds

"...Nearly two-thirds of respondents said it was unacceptable for candidates to use images from the World Trade Center's destruction in political advertisements. Mr. Bush is running an advertisement that shows the aftermath of the attack on Sept. 11, 2001, and has refused to take it off the air in the face of criticism by Mr. Kerry's allies, firefighters and some families of victims.

"They shouldn't exploit what happened to make a political issue," said Nan McNeill, 56, a Republican ranch owner in Tonopah, Ariz. "The fact that it happened is something that no one can deny, but no political party can actually say this is what should have been done or shouldn't have been done, so I don't think that it should be an issue at all...."
