9. Bill Clinton
It seems like many on the DU have gotten much like the right wing of the Republican Party, they constantly make personal. degrading remarks about both Bill and Hillary. I despise Ann Colter for using innuendos and personal attacks on anyone she disagrees with, but her methodology seems rampant here on the DU. Actually, I have heard a lot of bitching about Bill supposedly losing his temper and going ballistic, but I have not seen any evidence of such action. When he answered the Reporter in Los Vegas who jumped him about the lawsuit against the Services Workers Union, he debated with the guy and used facts and figures to back up his argument. He did the same thing on the Matthews show, but every time he answers some jerk that tries to embarrass him, the media and DU screams about Bill losing it. Bill Clinton is an effective debater and speaker and he effectively defends his views.

I respect Bill Clinton and Hillary and I wish we could discuss the issues rather than make degrading personal attacks. In my opinion, Obama has not effectively touched on any major issue, all he has done is mouth flowery phrases and cliches. However, the people love it, kind of reminds me of the Reagan charisma. Obama is and unknown entity and if he gets the nomination, I will vote for McCain. At least I know where he stands on the issues that are important to me.

3. This comment was priceless:
"So we should vote for Hillary because Bill can draw a crowd? Or we should vote for Hillary because she makes people mad? Or we should vote for Hillary because the other (4) good candidates are out of the race? Or we should vote for Hillary because Bill gives a good speech? Or we should vote for Hillary because we feel sorry for her? Gosh with so many great reasons to vote for Hillary, I can't think why Obama hasn't quit yet! He should be terrified! This is perhaps the most idiotic (and most insulting to the intelligence of the audience) "speech" Bill Clinton has ever given, save a few one liners like, "Yes but I didn't inhale" or "I did not have sex with that woman." or "It depends on what your definition of 'is' is." and a few other choice gems."

5. You should vote for Hillary because she has the experience
This nation is in big trouble, we need experience and Obama needs experience 8 years with Hillary and Bill will give him enought experience to go on and be one of the greatest presidents ever. Ugly words about Bill Clinton can destroy the democrat party and cause Obama to loose even if he is nominated, the republicans are going to use our words against whom ever is nominated...

7. Hillary's experience did not help her
--- give an inspirational speech
--- run a good campaign
--- inspire thousands of voters.

Almost everyone has said that there is very little difference in their policies.
So what is needed is to get thousands of new voters out to increase the number of dems in the senate/house.

Bill Clinton failed at that. Hillary Clinton will not succeed as well as Obama can and has shown he can.

By the way - read all of the comments to that article. I think there are two pro Hillary - the rest wonder if Bill has lost his mind.
