What is the big deal about Chelsea using the word "clairvoyant"? Is that word too big for the average college student these days? Or for the average DUer?
If she'd said "She couldn't see into the future" would that have been OK?
Obama made one anti-war speech at a rally in Chicago. Big whoop.
He didn't have to vote on the IWR since he wasn't in the Senate then. If he had been, I'm sure he'd have voted just like the majority did.
Why? Becaue he's voted with Bush ever since he's been in the Senate, including voting to fund the war. If he were really anti-war he'd vote against the funding.

Hillary can't seem to connect how her present decisions effect the situation in the future.
Her IWR vote is but one indication of this problem she has. Her campaign is another example of the same defect.
No one expects anyone to be clarvoyant. But my problem with Hill is she is incompetant. She makes too many demonstratably bad decisions.

I have been thinking over the past few days, that what if the candidate for "unity, hope and change" wins the nomination and pulls off winning the White House and two years into his term "unity, hope and change" still hasn't occurred - will his supporters seek mass quantities of anti-depressants or will they seek accountability?
Unless you have a congress that will also support "unity, hope and change" it isn't going to happen.

Republicans went after her looks.
I hardly compare that with challenging her own public statements while supporting her mother.
If she wants to campaign, then her statements are fair game. I definitely don't agree with personal attacks about her as a person, unrelated to the substance of what she says or her qualifications in saying it. But its disingenuous to label any challenge of her campaign statements as "attacks."

would be so stubborn in his/her repeated refussal to admit that a mistake, something that virtually the entire country concedes was a terrible mistake, was made so that that person's supporters (including in this case her daughter)would be left with no intelligent response when questioned - and be left with a sarcastic response.
It is especailly hard to believe when that mistake resulted in the human destruction equivalent to the Atom bomb in Hiroshima.
Give Hillary a pass on IWR. Fine. But to not acknowledge it at this time leaves her surrogates in an untenable position. This time it was Chelsea. Frankly I felt sorry for her. If her mother had stepped up and done the right thing then it wouldn't have fallen for her daughter to be so defensive and so sarcastic about something that has cost 100,000 lives and 2 million refugees. Shame on you Hillary.

Now she's a 27 year old woman, and she's not a child any longer. So she can suck it up and take what comes along.

botheres you too much, you might consider not hanging at a political board, because once Chelsea signed up to be a surrogate for her moms campaign, she put herself on the "fair game" list. She can pretend she's not being political all she wants, and I have nothing agaisnt her fuction as a surrogate for mom's campaign, but b eing questioned and critiziced comes with the territory.
Chelsea made a public comment relating to her mom's record on voting for the Iraq War Resolution, and somebody criticized her for it. Big deal.

Frankly, Clinton has just run a bad campaign and didn't prepare for life after February 5th. Her bad management and her aweful campaign strategists are why she has lost the political lead of the century.
Blame her and hold her campaign strategists responsible for your frustration, quit calling the good Democrats here Republicans (and in some cases Sexist). This is not directed at just you but the broader swath of people here who just don't want to admit Clinton has run a bad campaign and want to call names instead.
