My March 4th RI predictions
Obama by 4%.

Even split of the delegates.

Clinton has the friends and the history here, but Obama's got the kids at Brown and RISD and URI on his side. 40,000 new voters registered since last year and 20,000 of them are 18-29. Most registered unaffiliated. Only @ 1200 of 40,000 registered republican. I love my state!

Obama will win Providence, North Providence, Central Falls maybe Cranston and Clinton will take the rest. Of the 5 counties, Obama wins one (Providence) and Clinton takes Kent, Washington, Newport, and Bristol.

Each candidate picks up @12-14 delegates.

This is the first time since oh, the primary system came into being that our primary will matter. We have the lowest primary turnout in the nation since there's nothing else on the ballot and our primary never matters. Less than 20,000 people voted in the 2004 primary.

Look for @100,000 to vote this time. People are excited that we might actually count.

Neither candidate will campaign too heavily here since they have the bigger fish of Ohio and Texas to fry that day.

I haven't decided who I am voting for yet. Not Obama. Maybe Clinton. Probably Edwards or write in Al Gore.

2. It's odd that you say the primary matters, but then you are going to vote for Edwards or Gore.
Does it matter, to you?

3. Yeah it does
But I really don't like Obama and I just can't pull the trigger on Clinton.
