So, how many post offices ARE there in America and
would it really take four years to name them all?

1. I have no idea where this came from but..
I spent some time in a little town called Bond in Colorado, the post office was a tiny little room in the one and only gas station.

If they can call that closet a post office then there could easily be tons of them

But four years.. I kinda doubt that.

That's his greatest accomplishment.

3. Off-topic, but did you know
that you can't get a PO Box unless you have a PHYSICAL ADDRESS? When they told me this, I felt like I had moved into an alternate universe. Why would I need a PO Box if I had a physical address?!?! If I had a physical address, I would just get my mail there. Wouldn't I? They told me it was a National Security thing.

4. The rule may be silly but there is a reason sometimes
Believe it or not, the post office does not necessarily deliver to all physical addresses, and you have to get a box if you want mail. I had to do that for several years until I moved.

5. OK, I may have worded this badly.
I don't have a physical address. I need a PO Box. They won't let me have one.

So I don't see how needing a PO Box because you can't get mail at your physical address really applies.

Am I clearer now? I just wanted to point out how ludicrous the whole thing is.
