I have a real problem with Hillary's new attacks
I make no bones that I decided to go with Obama but I was always a real big fan of Hillary.

I understand she is trying to win but to bash Obama on his "HOPE" message is so wrong. Thats what the Democrat party has always stood for and to say he has no "Solutions" is a lie. You can go to his website and read info on his plans.

But to paint this picture and if or when Obama wins; she just gave the Republican all their talking points.

Why would she risk a Dem getting in the White House for her own personal gain?

She actual sounds like John McCain right now. Last night on TV they were showing clips of her and John McCain saying the same thing. If she doesnt win then she really hurts Obama in the general election.

How can she do this against one of her own?

3. I guess it would surprise you, too, to know that I was also a supporter and staunch defender
of Hillary Clinton up until the time her "drug use" attacks started on Obama. At that time, I didn't even know Obama, but certainly didn't want to sit through another year of this type of negative campaigning. Now, I'm not the only one who has been turned from Hillary support to Hillary antagonism simply by virtue of Hillary, Bill, Mark Penn and the campaign. There are many more like me and it won't make it less true to call us liars. Many people came into this not liking Hillary. Many more finally saw her and the Clinton Machine for what it is. And that is no one's fault but the Clintons.

5. The real world is not like DU
And this guy only has 68 posts. He has no idea what he's in for.

People talk to me about the "Unity Ticket" every single day. This is not an exageration. People want it, and don't seem to care who heads it.

It's easy to get cynical on DU, and the real world is different.

2. the 'bash' part is overblown, mainly by Obama supporters and the candidate himself
in the rant he does in his stump speech. Hillary is FOR hope, but says we should, and are able, to go further and work to realize those hopes. That's it. She says NOTHING ELSE about Obama's repeating of the word, 'hope', except that those hopes can be realized, with effort that she's offering to exert.

4. Solutions, what exactly does Hillary mean
Look at the issues on Healthcare, scrapping NCLB and starting out fresh. These are solutions I can agree with Hillary on. Social Security and disability is an issue I want both to spell out in simple terms because it's an issue that effects millions of americans. S.S. is too full of bureaucrat red tape. If democrats really wanted a progressive then why didn't they vote for Kucinich?

6. Hillary isn't for hope
She's against false hope. What falls under false hope? Everything, and especially Obama. Why? Because she thinks she's going to win, so she doesn't want people to get excited.

8. The Republicans already have their talking points lined up
Nothing Clinton does or says would affect or add to their plan whatsoever, and more than what Obama says would affect her.

They have every right to duke it out in the primaries to their heart's content. This is politics, not hopscotch.

9. That's a lot to respond to.
This is quite a tame primary. If you think the candidates are making "attacks", you may have set the bar a little too low.

In the more traditional sense, an attack would be if Hillary accused Obama of abusing his children, or if Obama claimed that Hillary actually did have Vince Foster assassinated. Simply saying that Obama won't debate or that Hillary wants too many is properly called a gripe, not an attack.

And why should Hillary alone bear the responsibility of reducing the conflict in the party? Why not Obama? Perhaps it is because you are supporting Obama, so therefore nothing Hillary Clinton does could possibly be right.

Then, there's the "hope" thing. Barack Obama is not the human incarnation of hope, nor does Hillary lack it because she doesn't campaign by stirring up a crowd to a high emotional pitch.

And finally -- "The DEMOCRAT Party" -- ? It's the "DemocratIC" party. The Republicans drop the -ic as a juvenile political taunt.
