Donald Trump to *: You're FIRED!
Trump is backing Kerry. Wouldn't that be a fantastic ad?

Of course The Donald should be dead serious, give all the reasons why, for the good of the country, to get this nation back on track, there's only one solution:

George Bush*
YOU'RE FIRED.

1. Could Trump pay for those ads?
I'm surprised at him. Another rich white dude with a consience? As a future rich (hopefully) white dude, he's a new inspiration.

Thanx Donald!

25. sounds fishy to me
Maybe he's just pretending to back Kerry so that he can keep his job in Hollywood. Nobody wants to watch a rich Republican firing people on TV...ughh..

3. Trump comes on Imus regularly. He announced his support for Kerry
some time ago - while the primaries were being contested. I don't have a link. But I heard it with my own ears. It's all good.

Hey, AWOL - YOU'RE FIRED!

12. Heh...his businesses must be doing badly under Bush.
I think alot of international travelers and businessmen will be against Bush because most of their business relies on good relations with other countries.

4. I'm glad for his support, even if he is a little bit of a coo-coo
tax and spend liberal type (sarc.)

Donald Trump eh? If we're even picking off the greedy bastard demographic we're doing well.

7. Despite his wealth, Trump actually has some connections to
Democrats. Robert Torcelli, when he was Senator from NJ was sometimes called "Donald Trump's personal senator".

Edited on Sat Mar-13-04 04:41 PM by Doomsayer13
He's donated mostly to Dems according to open secrets. He was contemplating a run for president last cycle, I don't recall under what party though, or independent.

13. idea for commercial:
using actual clips from his show of Trump and those other two "business experts" or whatever they are, rattling off Bush's shortcomings:
- "I haven't seen any production from you."
- "You're never around when work needs to get done."
- "You don't show leadership. It's always someone else's fault."
- "You have an edge to you, you know that? You get on people's nerves."
then:
- "you're fired."

Even if they had to use Trump and Bush look-alikes.

You should send this to Kerry's campaign. LOL! Would love to see this one. It couldn't happen to a more deserving twerp.

26. hell yeah
Have a fake bush stuttering in the boardroom. And then Bush could shout out something like, "But the nucular--" and be immediately cut off and told to shut up and lectured on how to say the word right. ok I'm rambling...heheh

22. Why Not Just Use A Bush Look Alike- But No Names
Use the script someone wrote above... simple take off on the show... and have the Apprentice a Bush look alike... maybe name him George.

27. Kerry should run from Trump
Besides inheriting 60 million dollars when he was in his 20’s how do you think he got his billions??? By being nice to his workers and paying fair wages??

29. Actually he wasn't bad to people who worked for him.
Not that people like Trump ever have a large payroll. That isn't the kind of business he's in. From what I have heard among the working people who have dealt with him, he's pretty demanding but pays well and doesn't overstep his bounds.

Its all anecdotal, of course, but Trump is something of an urban legend in the NYC area anyway. Since it would be little less a miracle than the second coming of Christ( (c)Mel Gibson ) for NYS to go for Bush in November, Trump's endorsement means little in the Empire State. It could make a dent elsewhere, however. His show is very popular (don't ask ME why) and every detail helps.

Having a rich and powerful SOB denouncing Bush is just as effective as any of the usual suspects doing so, IMHO.

Go, Donald!

28. Sounds like we
have quite a few VERY rich people in our corner. Imagine what could happen if they use their money the way the VRWC has, great things could occur.
