Hillary & Obama= both a little too right-leaning and corporate-friendly, but strong campaigners and good people.

McCain= Extreme right-wing authoritarian war-hawk nutjob anti-choice, anti-poor freakazoid job-exporter from hell.

I know it's a very competitive primary campaign and all, but STILL- remember the long haul that's ahead.

Now repeat with me again, class, where should most of our vitriol be directed?

1. It will all be OK. Competitive elections are good for us in the long run.

4. I just got the 2nd disk from Netflix
It's a hard sell to my gf, who sees it as more of a tragedy than a comedy...

It's also hard to say which Bubbles I like better: this one or the one from "The Wire."

5. I guess there are a lot of ways of looking at it. Some would call it classist...
Personally I see it as an affirmation of the humanity and caring between people at the absolute bottom of the socioeconomic heap.

There is a lot of laughter at the expense of the characters and their doomed schemes to make a buck through small-time crime, but in the end, they all care about each other and have each other's back, which is what I love about the show.

7. That person may be flawed...
...but whichever it is (I suspect I know), I think that person would still smell of daisies standing at a debate podium against McCain.

8. Color me an optimist, and I think we're going to come out of this election well, really well.

It's not only the race we stand to win for the White House, but Congress gains, State gains and local gains as well.

Turnout to date seems to point to big Democratic coat tails down the tickets.

It's a good thing.
