Hillary's campaign needs to have some "frank discussions" this evening

A la Mitt Rommney. She's facing a nearly impossible task (winning by 60% in the rest of the primarys) and the party needs to unite against McCain.

20. 59 delegates is actually a lot in a tight race. However, 60% is about right, she needs to keep Obama
...from getting any more large numbers of delegates in TX, OH, and PH or she should give up.

39. It would take a "ground shaking" development. It kind of gets
me mad though. It's very important to me, to one day see a woman lead this country. Hill had a chance, and I don't want to think that some outdated political advice, and the enormity of Obama, means that I have to wait another 50 years. Don't get me wrong, I'm firmly in Baraks's corner, but it kind of feels like my cup "rannith" over this cycle.

And getting people to actually get motivated to get out the vote for her on March 5th.

44. This is especially true if the MSNBC comments are true
They are saying that the HRC goal is to keep the gap in pledged delegates to less than the low double digits and make up the difference with superdelegates - the idea being that if the gap is small enough it won't be a problem.

I think that people will see it as not a fair race, if the winner of the pledged votes doesn't win. If this is their best case scenario, they should re-think it for the good of the country. They started with every advantage - to again use favors to BC to win to win after really loosing puts it into banana republic range.

I think the claim that they are not competing in Wisconsin is silly - especially when Chelsea Clinton is there and I think Bill Clinton going there. It is a race and she is in it - even if she does less than she can. I would guess that after March 4, unless something unexpected occurs - she should concede. Oddly, that would be almost the same timing as in 2004, when the race started later and was far less a rollercoaster.

45. After March 4th, if she loses big, then she should consider throwing in the towel. IF NOT
then by mid march Dean will step in and broker a deal between the two of them. That deal would surely end with the person possessing the most pledged delegates as the Presidential Nominee and some consolation prize for the runner up.

We will have to wait and see.

But, yes, if she dogs it after Ohio and Texas weigh in then, barring something drastic, she should concede. I think most Hillary supporters will agree with me.

Though I am hoping, deep inside, that she somehow wows us with the turn out in Texas and Ohio... however unlikely that may be to actually happen :(

I wish my states primary was sooner. I would like the opportunity to actually VOTE for her before she is out of the race. Alas, it may not be meant to be.
