And he refused to be released until his fellow prisoners were as well. He is indeed a hero. And we should admit that.

11. Indeed, McCain was a war hero, and I would be ashamed if he was
swiftboated. However, I don't see Hillary or Obama allowing this in their campaigns.

If you want to find detractors look in the Republican party...the Swiftboaters are now calling him a liar and a traitor during his captivity. They have no bounds.....it is disgusting when Huckafuck didn't serve and his sons haven't served.

I respect the man for the trials and tribulations he has been through as a tortured prisoner during the Vietnam war.

I cannot respect him for embracing the * smear machine as they were trashing his family and his adopted daughter and he stood by and let them do it. That's all I needed to know....he allowed them to attack his family and he didn't fight back..
