I voted for Kerry yesterday.
Here in Florida, there were'nt alot of people at my precinct. Seems as though, most stayed home knowing the outcome. Talked to a few of my friends who voted, most just want Bush to go.The others are just towing the line in hopes for a Democrat to win. I am still not sure how Kerry will do here in the general...I do know of some Dean supporters who did'nt show up which pisses me off. Did'nt see any Nader stickers around either.

I think Kerry can win Florida if EVERYONE gets out and votes!! This means the Dean army, so you Dean supporters need to alert the Florida crowd to get motivated. A Democrat win is a Democrat win. Period. Get over your grape days soon. We need unity now not later.

1. I think Kerry can win Florida
assuming it's a fair fight, of course. A couple of polls show him ahead of Bush, but it is a long way to November. BTW, I wouldn't read too much into the Dean people not voting. As you say, a lot of people stayed home because the nomination is sewn up.

2. I think those whose primaries are later in the season
tend to stay home, for it doesn't have the same excitement as New Hampshire or Iowa. I think Kerry can sweep through Florida, if it is a true and fair election. But, sigh, we all know how "fair" Florida elections are.
