I donated to John Kerry's campaign yesterday
It was only $25 dollars (I'm a struggling college student; I couldn't afford much more) but am very proud of myself. It's my first political donation and I'm thrilled that I'm able to contribute to getting rid of *.

Who else here has donated?

2. Congratulations! Didn't it feel good?
I got out of my sulk when Bush's latest ads came out and donated $25 to Kerry and will do so each month and then I also donated $30 to MoveOn.org I think there just might be enough outrage from people who call themselves "ordinary" Americans like myself that we just might take back the White House and America and the Flag and everything else that we once held dear to us but have been bought and sold by the RNC.

8. No, thank you!
I am unemployed and have been struggling to find work during this amazing ever expansive economic boom we're supposedly in so I have only given $10 to Kerry's campaign but I think I have made up for it by donating well over a hundred man hours campaigning for him in Iowa and Wisconsin.

I have a decent interview this afternoon so if I happen to get lucky and become employed maybe I can help more.

Every contribution counts and the fact that you took money that was difficult for you to give and donated it is a very dignified noble act on your part.

Every dollar counts.

6. I won't give kerry anything.....he has plenty.
He has won every Primary/Caucus thus his resources are vast. I prefer to give money and time to local democrats in my state who are running against incumbent republicans. These folks need the money and volunteers more than kerry. The DNC/DLC money machines are well funded.

7. Kerry has only a small amount of money now vs. Bush's $100 million
Kerry needs every dollar he can get to help him fight Bush.

10. I'll sit back and wait a while.....
I really want to help change Ohio back to a Blue State at both the state and federal level. I have enlisted into several campaigns here in Ohio, and have nurse friends who now have become energized as well. We agreed to work at least one day a month overtime and donate it to a candidate.

We did this for Dean as well as campaigned for him in several states. This was great experience! I see the rewards of our efforts can be transfered to the local level.

11. it feels so right, it can't be wrong
I'm in the same boat as you, Katha.
But I'll consider it money well spent as a very small down payment on B*sh-Free future, which is priceless.
