General Electric is in the private prison business, which is why you can't watch MSNBC without seeing some special that shows you the inside of prison. The subtext that is unspoken is: YOU NEED MORE PRISONS!!


I doubt the news wonks are even aware that's what is going on.

I watch CNN as well as MSNBC for the same reason I watch Fox some. You have to know what these corporate water boys and girls are saying, what they're spinning. Most of the on screen talent are complete airheads on all of these news channels. They're picked for looks and an ability to read a monitor and look convincing.

I wouldn't let Wolf Blitzer advise me on which sandwich to have for lunch.
