Lesson 2 from Last Night...Don't Underestimate the Opponent and their Support (and MY apology)
As an Obama fan, I'd like to PERSONALLY apologize to Clinton supporters for some rude comments I made a couple days ago. When it gets that close and everything is on the line...you're liable to say just about anything. With Super Tuesday behind us now, my pressure has lowered...lol. I even came down with a headache last night and couldn't eat because I was so nervous!

From here on out though...I don't think any supporter of either Clinton or Obama should take the other lightly. Obama won in a lot of states he was down in a month ago. Clinton was heavily favored to win the majority of states and she didn't. On the flip side, I think it's time for Obama supporters to acknowledge that Clinton is a force to be reckoned with and she will likely never be swept. Which is why I'm very skeptical about claiming premature victory in the upcoming Feb. states. It seems some people just never learn. Clinton has a very loyal and long following from Women and Hispanics...so don't count your eggs before they hatch.

3. Nicely stated considering the position you and a few others took earlier in the week.
But some of us always expected Hillary to dominate Super Tuesday, just not by much. That it panned out far better for Obama has been a joy and an astounding feat for any longtime election watcher.

The mean rhetoric of the expectations game and the braggodocio beforehand is what needs tempering. Realism has to rear its head eventually.

If anyone wants to be plain TOUGH about something be TOUGH in defense of the constitution and the open government that protects it.

4. It would be nice if a few on the other side would also apologize
because no candidate on DU only has virtuous supporters and no candidate on DU only has rotten apples.
