17. Here's the state site,
http://vote.ss.ca.gov/Returns/pres/dem/map010001000000.htm

Turns out refreshing the screen every couple minutes doesn't help. :)

19. Keep an eye on Alameda County. A judge ordered polls open until 10pm;
This includes Oakland, a heavily African-American and very liberal area.

I fondly recall an Idaho Governor's race once that I was covering for the newspaper. The TV national news networks called it for a conservative candidate, but I told my newspaper editor to hold off til morning. I was right. Liberal Moscow Idaho, where the state university was located, was in a later time zone and had not yet been included in the count. Moscow students tipped the election to a Democrat.

Probably not enough votes in Alameda to swing this election, but Obama's numbers will likely go up substantially in my guestimate, and he will wind up with a good chunk of CA delegates.
