Who would your ABSOLUTE DREAM Democratic Candidate be?
Who would your ABSOLUTE DREAM Democratic Candidate be if you could pick ANY LIVING America Democratic Politician today to run for President? (Note: Must be United States citizen and must be alive)

Mine would be Rep. Maxine Waters of California's 35th District: <http://www.house.gov/waters/>

I'm a forty-something "white" male, but I swear, if I could pick a second Mother, I'd pick Maxine, but I'd settle for Maxine as President.

27. Has to be a REAL living Amrican Democrat...
...we have to have SOME rules here. Because with out rules, to paraphrase Bill Murry in "Ghost Busters," "This country is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria."

Dream Ticket, Gore/Feingold. As upthread.

Bill Hicks is dead, but I would have voted for him, too.

30. Feingold trash-mouthed Edwards.
Sadly, he did. I have lost a great deal of respect for Feingold for doing that. It hurt Edwards' campaign when he needed all the support he could get.

31. I think it was a mistake when he did that
But I'm not going to freak out and call him all kinds of names just because he didn't like my candidate. He has been a true liberal fighter for all his years in the Senate and the people of Wisconsin are lucky to have him.

24. Wes Clark
It would go a long way toward assuaging my dislike of Obama if he was to pick Wes as his VP. Obama desperately needs someone with Clark's foreign policy experience to balance the ticket. And Wes will help bring in the crossover independent/disaffected Republican vote. He also has splendid anti-Iraq credentials. And his speaking ability has grown tremendously since the 2004 election thanks to his stints on Faux and MSNBC. I hardly see him on Olbermann anymore though. Maybe because Olbermann is focusing on the election as opposed to the war?
