Ok is it me or is CA a tad slow getting out of the gate?
At the SOS website

and it is a tad slow... has not updated and zero reporting

1. New system says that all results have to be driven into the central office.
No more phone or modem call in.

8. I heard today that we won't really know until tomorrow
b/c many places had electronic voting machines and they have to do hand counts. San Bernardino will be doing one, as an example, and they can only count 10,000/hr. :shrug:

10. i read online the guy in charge of voting there
said they might not know tonight because of all the mail in people...he said he wants to make sure it is correct.

14. No, it is 20:19 PST... they closed at 20:00 PST
and I am looking at the SOS website.

21. Sadly San Diego is counting votes on Diebold tabulators;
only the voting machines were decertified, not the Opti-Scan counters.

What good are paper ballots if you count them on machines and jack up recount costs into the stratosphere?
