Poll question: **Official DU Super Tuesday Democratic Party Primary Poll**
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 11:53 AM by MethuenProgressive
I won't ask this be limited to only those who voted today - cuz we know supporters will vote anyway!
Please keep this kicked, and please rec this so we can see where DU stands as of today!
Thanks, and good luck to your candidate!

2. For the record,
I was going to vote for Bill Richardson, who is still on our ballot.
But when I got in the booth I filled in my oval for Hillary Clinton.

11. I didn't vote for Hillary ...
today

I did perhaps three weeks ago.

9. Been torn for months
I had a feeling that Edwards would be out by the time I got to caucus. He was by far my first choice.

The prospect of a Clark VP nod is what tipped it for me. If the R is McCain, I think Hillary/Clark would be the best ticket to beat him. I like Obama too and I think he could beat McCain but Hillary/Clark seems like a safer bet to me.

34. Voting trouble in central Illinois
My precinct is using new electronic voting machines made by Hart. I was given my access code for the Democratic ballot, and lo and behold, once I entered it, the repub ballot pops up. None of the election officials had a clue as how to fix it.

I spent half an hour waiting as they called headquarters and fiddled with the machine before I received a new access code and went to another machine. Although I feel confident that my vote for Obama is counted, during my wait there I saw at least half of the Seniors having trouble, unsure if they were doing it correctly, etc. These damn machines have GOT to become more of an issue for democracy to survive!
