Does anyone else find this as disheartening as I do? I was just SKIMMING the Greatest page for important/interesting news bits and once again found it littered with: OBAMA SUCKS,I HATE OBAMA,OBAMA CHEATED IN SCHOOL,OBAMA IS MEAN ETC ETC ETC ETC.

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE TITLES IN CASE ANYONE THINKS that I am being dramatic:

Obama would be the perfect candidate for a high school presidential race (Ummmm, speaking of highschoolish)

Obama's rightward slide continues with Harry and Louise style fake health care plan (It's not all that different then Hillary's)

Obama ad inaccurate, "Politics of Hope" just more dirty politics (go directly to jail, do not pass go and do not collect $100 dollars)

I've noticed Hillary Clinton is starting to get some traction at DU (Poooor Hillary)

I just quit Move On (I guess you showed them!)

Excellent Rezco article and an example of Mr. Good Judgment's being right on day one. (Okay, I give up ... this obviously clears Hillary from joining with the mob to get us into this war.)

Enough is really enough guys. I get it, you don't like Obama. Does ranting make you feel better? Do you honestly think that you are changing anyone's opinion by doing so? I am not a fan of hillary's but was excited and proud to see her and Obama standing on the stage yesterday, speaking intelligently and deeply about any given subject. What an incredible difference from the Republican debates!!! Have you watched any of them? (I force myself, know thy enemy and all that) We seriously need to get the hatred out of this, it isn't empowering anything other than more hatred.

they are expressing. I for one believe obama is an empty suit. Enjoys race baiting and playing the race card and steps back and blames it on others. It's so easy to backstab a Clinton, even when they did nothing wrong. She said, "It took a president to get it done," and she was right. Suddenly, some Democrats believe every word the whore media feeds them.

This is an almost verbatim quote from a thread last night. It shows the condescending nature of many of the remarks posted lately on DU by Barack supporters whose goal is to insult Hillary supporters. The premise of such broadbrush statements is due to Barack's demographic of attracting college-educated, wealthier American voters. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones who supported Kerry and were mocked by the right wing as being latte-sipping, Volvo-driving elites. These are the voters who have the least to lose with Barack in the White House, and likely Rahm Emanuel in his cabinet or more likely Speaker of the House. (If you aren't aware of Rahm Emanuel's influence in Barack's meteroric rise, you aren't paying attention.)

It's ironic, because when I woke up this morning, I thought to myself, "I should start a thread with some choice quotes by Barack's supporters." Then I thought to myself, "Oh, well, maybe that would be petty."

I just felt kinda silly for even popping into DU last night to be greeted by an entire (well ALMOST entire) Greatest page filled with the kindergarten like discourse and decided to express rather than stay away from DU until after the elections.
