I am not too proud to admit when I am wrong.
When all this started, my choices were Kucinich, Richardson, and Edwards, in that order. I was, at best, cool about Obama and Clinton.
Last night's debate, as well as some major research on my part, has made me change my point of view.
I will be able to vote for either of these fine candidates.
I will say I am leaning toward Obama, only because I feel he will have a better chance in the general.
To all the long time Obama and Clinton supporters, I am sorry for thinking all the negative thoughts I had about your candidate.

1. You're a class act, Rainbow.
I hope that, once the nomination is sealed, I'll be able to show as much class.

10. second that!
And your leaning in the right direction.

Yea - I went through hoping for Gore and saying good by to Kucinich before firmly settling on Obama.

Good choice!

peace~:)

that seems really nice... but are you really apologizing for simply thinking negative thoughts?

If you were trashing them as repug-lite, fake... crap like that... that's one thing.

But just anything negative? IIIIIIIdunno if I'd aplogize for that.

19. I guess I am apologizing for having a closed mind.
I had my beliefs and would not look at or listen to anything the was counter to those beliefs.
I think I was acting a bit like a, I don't know, maybe a republican???

4. Absolutely, good post rainbow...
Almost the same with me. I was a DIEHARD edwards supporter, and I was crushed when he left. I tuned in last night basically because there was nothing else on, and I came away far more impressed than i expected with both of them. They've both earned my vote.

7. No matter how much the media
tries to divide the Democratic party, in the end we are one family - disagreement, strong opinions and all. But in the end we come together.

11. I think the only true difference between the two is that Clinton
carries the baggage of what started during Bill's term - a growing divisiveness between Red and Blue. Our opposition hates the Clintons and this will not change in a general election. Obama has proven that he can live outside this divisiveness to some degree and attract indys and lite repukes. That's the name of the game - winning in Nov.

14. Yes, Obama's liberal voting record, endorsement by Edward Kennedy, and
ethnic status will make him the cross-over candidate for Bu$hites.

Hillary does well with moderates and lower-income, less-than-college educated who definitely make up the majority of voters.
