We were planning to GOTV for Dean in Ohio. We started planning our trip later this year.

5. I remember when Kerry was so low in national polls
Dean was beating him badly in Massachusetts. What Vermont did is an incredible testament to what the people who know Dean best think of him. It should be noted that Lieberman did horridly in Connecticut. Kucinich finished a distant third in his own distrcit. Gephardt did dismally in Missouri and didn't win his district. The only precedent I can think of for this is Simon in Illionois who was still a sitting Senator and only won the 'beauty contest' part of the ballot.
