John Edwards didn't have a chance. Barack Obama hasn't got a chance. I'm sorry. I'm not glad about this. I'm not a Clinton-supporter. I'm just saying: don't expect anything else. This was decided a long time ago. It's Hillary's "turn".

15. She's the Green Party candidate. Not Ralph. He'll have to run as
an independent this time if he jumps in (hearing rumors about that.. haven't seen confirmation yet)

5. McCain is DONE once Independent women are made aware of McCain's comments & temper
McCain teased a 17/18 year old girl about her looks. He wasn't a child or a boy when he made those statements: He was a 61 year old man who should have known better.

25. I saw something a while back on e-mail about a group that is collecting info on McCain.
The "bitch" refererence to Hillary is definitely going to get publicized if he becomes the Repub nominee.

It's depressing. Let's run another patrician Northeastern establishment candidate with enough political baggage to fill a pickup truck and incredibly high negativity ratings! That'll do the trick!

:dunce:

11. It will do the trick. Democrats who never supported her before will vote for her,
in large numbers. What other choice do they have? The Democratic leadership knows this. That's why they can afford to pick Hillary.

9. Hasn't got a chance? Go put everything you have on Clinton on Intrade. She's a hair above 60,
and Barack a bit below 40.

17. That would be their percentage chances of winning, roughly. You can buy one "share"
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 03:14 PM by Occam Bandage
of them at that price (which the betting market dictates, since you're buying from other people who can set their own sell price), and if they win, you get $100 per share. If you think she's a lock, you can make $40 profit on every $60 you lay down.

20. Oh, sorry. Intrade
has been the subject of much discussion, since there is a vocal group out there (though not so much here) that believes Intrade is the most accurate predictor of a candidate's chances. You can bet on the outcome of virtually anything remotely political there.

because Independents will split between the two. They will not support Obama. Quite frankly McCain's surge worries me.
