What do you think? Will the statement be - well the country has changed a lot in 4 years, we're finally ready for a black president?

1. It doesn't have anything to do with being black or being a woman etc.
Anyone who loses the election in 2008 will NEVER have another chance.

3. He is going to win
So your question is moot.

But historically people who lose the presidential election (with a few exceptions like Grover Cleveland) don't come back and win if they run again (see JQ Adams, Williams Jennings Bryan, Adlai Stevenson)

4. Depends on how effective Bloomberg is in building a third party movement.
Bloomberg will likely have 8 years.

5. I expect that Hillary will be the nominee in 08 and win the GE
I also predict that Wes Clark will be her running mate. Obama can run for president in 2016, competing against Gov. Martin O'Malley (D-MD) and possibly former Secretary of State Bill Richardson.

15. Hint: snappy comebacks are supposed to be snappy.
"Well I suggest you do what you have proposed I do, only you rather than performing said action on me--as was originally stated--choose instead to perform that action on yourself!"

12. I don't even want to THINK about the Dem losing!
I'm really not a partisan person, or at east wasn't unti Shrub got in office, but I honesly don't think I want to live in US that has another Pub Prez.

I want a SCOTUS where even the news idiots have no idea which way they will decide each case.

I want a president who wil NEVER conidr a premptive strike on another country.

I want a government that believe i you are not harming thers with your actions it's your business and they should stay out of it.

I want a leader who knows he/she must abide by the constitution and the laws of the US.

(and he certainly will given the chance) -- no dem will get another realistic chance
until 2016 -- the republican that winns will have the white house for the full 8 years.
