I am pretty sure I will not vote for the Democratic nominee in November.
I won't leave DU, because I enjoy the comedy. But I will vote for some other Party's candidate. I won't advocate for that candidate on DU (pearls before swine and all that), but I will will not be voting Democratic. Just thought I'd put this out there. Obama and Clinton are neither what i would consider an appropriate candidate. Good luck to all!

25. No, we have some power.. and look a campaign run on
donations less than 100.00... real people doing the work of spreading the message. He believes we have the power to take back America.. We just need to keep going.. Keep working. I donated again today.. second time in one month and for the first time ever in a campaign.. I am not giving up now. I hate to say it, but about a year ago, I heard about the Rezko thing from another progressive person in my CodePink group. I wondered when it would show up here... and now its hit a little on MSM.. This thing will kill him in the GE.. we know it will. Between Rezko and the Repug smear dirty tricks, he doesn't have a prayer.. And Clinton doesn't really excite too many people, that I know anyways.. It like holding your nose and pressing the button.. But many feel it a better choice than Obama.. He's really quite centrist on many issues.. I thought we were avoiding another Bush disaster.

38. You don't have anyone in mind yourself?
You're waiting for the Greens or the Socialists to make up your mind for you?

Doesn't sound much different than what you are railing against.

44. Well, until all of the candidates are set, it's hard to decide who to support.
Since I am currently neither a Green nor a Socialist, I can't really have any say in who they nominate. So, I'll have to wait and see who they put foreword. I'll also look at the Communist candidate. There are others, too, that I would consider - I'll have to wait and see. I sorry if that doesn't make sense to you, but I am not surprised that it might not...

Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 07:59 PM by readmoreoften
It won't matter anyhow. This whole election should be declared a "mistrial" anyhow. The whole process is corrupt and I doubt my vote counts on the national level.

I just put you on ignore - I have no use for people who are "jokes" and who do not support the charter of this site. This is the only reason I come here - there are plenty of sites where snarkiness is better appreciated.
