Two big cities, lots of rural and minority voters, part mid-west, part south, booming college towns, etc.

5. Part very racist
Sorry - had to comment on that. My husband is from there, just west of STL and outside of their wealthy white suburbs. Just one of the many reasons why he prefers to live outside of Chicago to outside of St. Louis where he grew up, and his family is.

8. Southern Missouri borders Arkansas - it is south.
