Josh Marshall: Obama isn't very good at defending himself. And that's hard for me to ignore...
"Hillary can be relentless and like a sledgehammer, delivering tendentious but
probably effective attacks. But whatever you think of those attacks, Obama isn't
very good at defending himself. And that's hard for me to ignore when thinking
of him as a general election candidate. In most of these cases -- such as the Reagan
issue -- I think Obama's remarks have been unobjectionable but ambiguous and
certainly susceptible to both misunderstanding and intentional misrepresentation.
And if you're going to talk like that -- nuance, as we used to say -- be able to
defend it when people play with your words. And I don't see it."

2. I agree.
Hillary's sledgehammer-like attacks have been tendentious, and Obama's remarks have been unobjectionable, if ambiguous.

7. Jessshhh... make up your minds...
can he not defend himself or is he attacking Clinton wildly in desparation and panic? You can't accuse him of both.

12. If we want to nominate the best campaigner, it should be Hillary (especially
since Bill comes as a part of the package). Of course, I could have told you that before the nominating process started and the other candidates could have just chilled.

If a wuality campaigner is all that we are looking for, she is the one. Anyone who supports another candidate probably does not do so based on a belief that he is a better campaigner, but for other reasons.

15. Three days is now ancient history?
Josh Marshall has consistently defended Obama, so it's interesting to see his opinion on this. I agree with him btw.
