"But like I've been saying, Obama took Bill Clinton's bait and is coming out worse because of it. I rarely quote David Broder, but this description is right on target:

For now, Clinton and her husband, the former president, have gotten inside Obama's head and rattled his composure. Obama seemed unusually defensive in his speech here Sunday evening, launching the final burst of campaigning in the state.

Obama's on the defensive, sounding shrill, argumentative and testy with reporters. It's clear Bill Clinton has gotten to him. Kind of like he's gotten to Ed Schultz, who became completely unhinged today on "Hardball," squealing that Clinton is "lying" about Obama, while touting Obama endorsers as proof of this unadulterated spin. Bill Clinton seems to make lesser males turn rabid, with exhibit A today being Schultz. It's for certain that Bill Clinton has Obama off his game, off his message, and off his stride. It's why Obama should never have tangled with him in the first place".
