If Clinton wins the nomination, Obama will endorse her. She will "get his voters"
Even though Obama issued a veiled threat that he would encourage his voters not to support Clinton, that isn't true.

He would be finished in national politics if he did that. Buried as a sore loser and a liar for ever saying he was a Democrat.

He's too ambitious to let that happen. Therefore he will endorse Clinton.

1. And Clinton would endorse Obama, and Edwards would endorse either of them.
What's your point?

6. And while Obama was threatening, Hillary was calling for unity
She said that once the nominee is selected, we must all unify behind him or her because getting a Democrat into the White House is the most important thing.

2. It really doesn't matter, if his supporters don't trust or like her.
I'm not voting for a DLC-Hillary.

20. Same can be said of Clinton supporters...If Obama gets the nod, I won't vote for him...PERIOD...
No matter what she may ask us to do. I won't cast a vote for a cretin like Obama, I have as much respect for him as I do for Louis Farrakhan.

You must be projecting your second choice, Romney, onto me. Thanks, but, no thanks.:hi:

5. The next couple of weeks are gonna be crazy
People will say or imply crazy things just to try to seem strong and viable. When the nominee is finally selected, it will calm down.

7. Last I heard we are still Americans. Obama is an honorable man (much more so than this poster) he
would concede graciously and cheer support for the winner. His supporters are not bound by anything.

8. This is probably true, but
an independent colleague of mine today stated that he was so sick of the petty, vicious and pointless attacks on Obama coming from the Clinton camp--especially directly from Hillary-- that if it came down to Hillary vs. Romney in the general election that, as much as he despises Romney he "just might pull the lever for Romney."

He has previously let me know that he likes both Obama and McCain, although I'm not sure who he would vote for if it came down to a choice between Obama and McCain.

Hillary may keep most of the Democratic vote despite her current campaign tactics, but she is losing independents fast, and it will be very hard for her to get them back.

12. My brother who has a W on his vehicle
would consider Obama, but never Hillary or Edwards.

But I don't think that's enough reason not to vote for Hillary or Edwards. I think you have to look at the whole picture.

And I think all 3 Dem candidates should back off from attacking each other.

13. Right! Independents have been voting for McCain not Hillary
That has been the basis he has won so far, he can capture their votes, his challenge is getting the base of his party to vote for him.

9. He has a plan B called Michael Bloomberg.
He will leave the party and join his "new best friend" to change America by destroying the Democratic Party.

I am an Africa-American and I will not vote for him before he has more experience on the national level. As everyone should know by now, I am voting for Hillary.

14. He will but I may not
I fully expect Obama will be visibly behind the Dem ticket if he is not on it.

Whether she "gets his voters" is a separate issue with a different answer.

She'd get some of them, sure. But if she doesn't start showing some respect, she won't get this voter, if she is on the ticket. These ham fisted, overwrought attacks are not what we need.

and its very possible some will switch over to someone like McCain regardless of what Obama or Clinton says.

19. you are full of shit, there was no veiled threat. It was the truth.
Obama draws multitudes of Independents who will not vote for Hillary.

If she is the nominee, the Independents will go to McCain, whether Obama endorses her or not.

And to be honest, I wouldn't blame them.

30. Good thing! That will ensure him an offer of a cabinet position or even a VP spot and some
experience for the 2016 election when all of America will be hungering for his election and he'll be ready to take over from day one. He wants to unite America and what a great effective way to so it! Three cheers to Obama!
