Trying to make this a campaign issue is really reaching.

1. Just because it isn't doesn't mean it shouldn't be, or that it won't be.
Rezko's trial starts next month. I imagine that will ratchet the interest levels up a bit.

When Senator Obama would be called to testify in the matter. He will testify, right? He's THAT involved in the case, isn't he?

24. You should probably ask Patrick Fitzgerald if you really want to know.
The media that is reporting this says he's linked Obama to Rezko, and they're more than just acquaintances.

25. Being 'more that just aquaintances' with a person who is under indictment
doesn't make the other a criminal. Ask Hillary Clinton about her relationship with Norman Hsu, does that make her a criminal?

11. It's like mindlessly repeating "Whitewater"
There's no content, but it gives morons something to hold on to and obsess about.

Look how many morons we have on this board. They're no different from the Republicans who obsessed over the thoroughly fake Whitewater scandal. They're idiots, or despicable liars. Those are really the only two options.

14. Indeed.
While admittedly the Obama-ites I know IRL are pretty annoying with their goo goo eyed hero worship, the Hillbots are just over the top with their intolerance of any criticism of their Queen. They pass on every lie and smear from the Clinton Borg like it was the gospel truth handed down from the heavens. If I hear about the goddamn 'present' votes one more time from these Hillaroid nitwits I will scream. 5 minutes of research to debunk them.

I am not rooting for this to blow up into a real scandal. But I am glad if we find out now rather than later.

20. Then theres this part...

"Fresh out of Harvard law school, Obama worked at the Chicago firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Rezko was among clients of the firm, a fact Clinton noted during the debate.

Attorneys there say Obama never represented Rezko directly. The future senator did represent community organizations that were Rezko partners in rehabilitating buildings to provide apartments for the poor."

What a jerk. :eyes:

Nothing of any significance to talk about. Certainly doesn't compare to clinton ties to Mark Rich, Mr. Hsu, etc.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-0704230648apr24,1,671186.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

Read the ENTIRE article. All the way to the bottom and note his former employer's comments.

And this:
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/12/clinton-may-end-relationship-with-burkle-firm/

"In April, the Clintons sold the millions of dollars of stocks held by their blind trust after learning that those investments included oil and pharmaceutical companies, military contractors and Wal-Mart."
