I'm supporting who ever comes out of Super Tuesday with the clear path...
I currently support John Edwards.

It kills me to see him not finishing where he needs to be in these early contests.

Regardless, I will support him through Super Tuesday when it's make or break for John.

Like I said, the door is shutting for Senator Edwards. And Hillary Clinton is looking like the candidate to beat, with Obama close behind.

I truly think Hillary is going to win the nomination.

But at this point, I'm supporting who ever has the clear path to the nomination following Super Tuesday.

At this point, I believe it's Hillary.

After the results of Nevada, I even went online and bought a yard sign.

She's not my first choice, but I believe she'll be the nominee.

But in any event, I'm sticking with Senator Edwards through Super Tuesday.

Anyone else supporting who ever leaves Super Tuesday with the clear advantage?

1. My dear Kerry2008!
I follow your reasoning, and I like it!

I supported Dennis Kucinich, but he has no chance...

I too will vote for whoever has the clear advantage...

But that'll have to be clear before Super Tuesday!

Since California has its primary that day, lol!

2. I'm supporting Edwards as long as he's in
Why do you feel the need to switch to whoever you think is winning before the nomination? (Not a challenge, just curious.)

7. Because I think it's appropiate to support the soon-to-be nominee. And we should know then.
I thought for a while we might have a brokered convention.

I don't think so anymore.

And I truly am glad I supported Edwards, and it's been great to support what I think is the best candidate in this race. But I have to come to the brutal conclusion at some point that his chances are done.

4. I like Edwards far better then Hil
and I wish him luck. If Hil gets the nod, I am in no way shape way or form doing anything but aggressively opposing her. Of course I won't do this to the point I vote for or support the majority of Repug candidates. Of them, Ron Paul is the only one I like and gets a pass from me.

5. Not on DU, you won't
Working against the Democratic nominee is against DU's rules.

here now did I? I hold it to expressing my opinion and leave it at that. I think I've been around a few years and know what's what with DU, but thanks for sharing anyway. I am amused.

20. Me too
I've spent an epic amount of time being an unmerciful thorn in Jim and John Robinson's side with my accounts at Free Republic. John even has posted to me in other forums that he is especially motivated to 'get' me when I come back in.

I am no one you need worry about. I am strongly opinionated and fiercely independent, but have no ax to grind with DU and don't plan on ever going there. The worse thing I ever do in regard to DU is to stay away if I have nothing to contribute or am busy with other things.

I am the one who found fraud and blew the whistle on the petition campaign to get Nader on the Ballot in Oregon the last election. I did that because I supported Kerry then and the Repugs were paying for that to try to split the plurality of the vote enough to give the state to Bush.

I was working at Saturday Market in Portland who owned the building the contractor gathering the signatures was using. This is verifiable. I am Michael McCarthy who was mentioned in the first articles on this story in Oregon and I spoke at the press conference announcing the investigation at the SEIU hall in that city.

I have paid my dues, then and in elections past as a loyal Democrat doing much grass roots work. I am no enemy.

21. I wasn't implying you were the enemy
I just see a lot of "I'm not voting for the Dem if it's Hillary" posts from newbies and old-timers alike, and it seems like people are gearing up for some kind of angry fight if she's nominated. It makes me wonder if people are forgetting the stated purpose of the board, so I post the reality check from time to time.

No need to prove your credentials to me. :)

22. I have been banned in conservative forums
and dealt with adversity doing real life activism that 'educating the jury' is something I do reflexively. I have been away awhile and want any moderator sniffing about my posts to understand who I am and what I do.

There always is a reason and even method to what I do when I post, and it is always based on previous experience in other forums on the Internet.

And I planned on supporting him till the end.

But....

Eh, I don't see him winning. Sadly.

It's about standing up for what you believe in.

12. I have, and I'm proud of myself for doing so.
I wouldn't conform if I didn't believe in the other two candidates.

I think we have capable candidates in our top three.

I'm just sad John Edwards didn't win Iowa, and get the momentum to compete!!

14. I can't do that. I will always support Edwards.
He has given a voice to the voiceless. He is standing up now addressing the important issues and driving the debate.

I will always rally around him, against all odds.

I, too, think Edwards should stay in until then.
