Whether you like it or not, its 3 in a row for Hillary

NH, Michigan and Nevada

Obama takes Iowa

Also she's taken 6 of the at large casino's so far.

I mean what happened to Obama's union endorsement?

Those Casino Caucuses

This may be the big story out of the Nevada on the Democratic side. A huge amount of the coverage of this race over the last week or so fed off the Culinary Union endorsement of Obama and the expectation that Obama would thus clean up in those controversial casino strip at-large caucus sites. Well, didn't happen. Hillary carried at least 6 of the 9 at large caucuses.

These numbers will change after Nevada's are awarded, but it will still be close.

15. IMO, Michigan doesn't count. No one campaigned there expect for her.
I think a more reasonable tally would be 2 for Clinton with Obama closely at her heels and 1 huge win for Obama.

This is not going to be over anytime soon.

21. I fear that Romney's having had executive experience might make him a stronger
candidate than HC. He doesn't look that strong yet, but I think it's because he isn't yet the household name that Hillary is. Only two sitting senators have gone on to win the presidency. Now if it's McCain - she probably has a better chance.

24. Well, here's the interesting question
Many in the Democratic base have said for months they will not vote for Hillary. I think Hillary is betting at the last minute, those Dems will come home. Some might, many will not.

Many Republicans now do not want to rally around Mitt. Will they sacrifice the reluctance they have now (and okay, I will say it although it's distasteful -- will the evangelicals put aside their religious prejudice and vote for a Mormon) in order to defeat a Clinton?

In 2008, will passion for party trump personal contempt for the party candidate in order to effectuate a win? I believe that is the question that will be in play, and I do not pretend to know the answer. I do think that question is one Bloomberg is now weighing and HIS OPINION on the answer to that question might possibly prompt him to wade into the political waters in February.

What do you think?

28. Bloomberg certainly would make it interesting -- he might actually take from
both sides having been a democrat and republican at different times. I wonder what he's position on Iran is -- that's one of my sticking points with Clinton. I watched her performance at an AIPAC meeting and I came away disgusted at her pandering and warmongering stance vis a vis Iran. Plus she simply doesn't inspire me even a little -- I really think we need someone 'fresh' and more authentic. I have been asking young people who their preference is and I have to say so far it's mainly Obama. Something about him is energizing them to wade into politics - and even though I'm more a Kucinich/Edwards type - I think Obama might do for young people what Kennedy did for my generation. I'd hate to lose that energy. Oddly enough my daughters and their girlfriends all seem to have a visceral dislike of Hillary. She's not cool to them at all even though she's a woman - maybe it's the pantsuits and the head mistress style about her. But older women will probably carry the day - too bad.

Actually here in California I know a lot of white, older women who can't stand Hillary, but the polls show her leading in our age group among women.
