...when she’s the one who supported George Bush’s war in Iraq, the most damaging Republican idea of our generation. While others were triangulating and poll-testing their positions, Senator Obama has been fighting for progressive ideals for over two decades."

1. Don't forget DOMA and welfare reform
two Republican chestnuts courtesy of Bill. One more Clinton administration and the Reagan Revolution will be completely enacted into law.

6. God, NAFTA. That's a HUGE contributing factor to what's going on right now.
Who the fark thought that up? Oh wait...

Hated even the thought of NAFTA when it was first brought up and enacted. It's done it's exact purpose. Feed the corporations/CEOs, and starve the US citizens - sending them begging at the feet of Super SmellMart and Burger Pauper.

8. Do you guys have any arguments for your candidate that aren't just smearing everybody else?
Here's a hint: the "last man standing" form of politics really doesn't work.

7. Weak....he is getting his ass kicked on this.
"I don't think it's a better idea to privatize Social Security. I don't think it's a better idea to try to eliminate the minimum wage. I don't think it's a better idea to undercut health benefits and to give drug companies the right to make billions of dollars by providing prescription drugs to Medicare recipients. I don't think it's a better idea to shut down the government, to drive us into debt."

12. It is a good line for Obama to use.
And a fair point for him to raise. But the same can be said about Obama's new surragate campaigner John Kerry, or John Edwards, or Joe Biden, or Chris Dodd. And of course the IWR was on it's face a vote to put pressure on the U.N. to send inspectors back into Iraq. And that worked. The vote was also a huge mistake because it left a massive loop hole through which Bush drovew our country into war, but that wasn't how the IWR was sold. That wasn't the "idea" that was voted on by Clinton and all those men. Of our 2004 candidates only Lieberman and Edwards at that time actually supported Bush's decision to go to war with Iraq, which is another distinction not noted here.

Obama scores real points for opposing the Iraq war early and correctly, but that alone doesn't prove he's the Democrat with the best vision for the future, or best understanding of the past.
