Obama is a terrible, dangerous human being.
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 09:52 PM by Bicoastal
There, I just wanted to be the first person to say it and depirve Hillary-supporters of the opportunity.

I haven't heard ONE word out of you guys that examines Obama as a legislator or Obama as a politician at all in the last few days. It's all about "What dialogue of his can we worm our way into and spin?" or "What personality can we link him to through the odious game of 'guilt by association'"--which makes absolutely no sense, given the Clintons' track record. But I digress.

It's all about politics of fear and spin, and I'm convinced that it's all you guys really have. In the end, you'll find you have slimed a perfectly decent younger Democrat and made yourself look incredibly odious in the process.

And to think I was defending Hillary months ago when people were disparaging her, back when I was undecided--when people posted those awful pictures of the Clintons getting cozy with the Bushes, and I said that was unfair. Maybe it matters nothing to you, but I take it all back now. The Clintons deserve everything they've gotten, and these threads are proof of it.

2. Every candidate has nasty supporters. Some of Clinton's supporters are good,
just like some of Obama's supporters are good. You were right to take the high road with Clinton.

4. Terrible? I don't think so. However, what does he stand for? And he does like Reagan.
Hillary Clinton is not much better. What does SHE stand for? And evidently she and her husband like a lot of Republicans, as they hang out with them.

6. Things will flip. The media has a way of doing that. And when that happens...
I will make sure I am not as nasty and petty as the Hillary supporters are being right now.

We cannot control others' behavior, only our own. And hope we set an example through practice.

7. How many times did the courageous Obama vote present?
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 10:00 PM by billbuckhead
:tinfoilhat:bama is an empty suit who relies on others playing the race card for him and sucking up to Republicans in a dishonest meme about bringing people together( sounds like that other uniter, the Chimpster).

Nothing less than a bourgeoisie fifth column inside our party.
Check out one of his most supportive websites. I'm sure MLK would :puke:

10. Yeah, and I'm sure when the primary ends...
...if Obama doesn't get the nomination, you'll be huddled outside his Senate offices, clamoring for his removal from our party. Just like the Swifties.

You honestly make me sick to be a Democrat.

19. There aren't that many Hillary supporters here
Maybe two dozen in all, out of the hundreds of regular posters. Most of the posters are Edwards people. Maybe they are the ones you should go after.

I plead guilty to being nasty but I have my hands pretty full just defending Hillary from threads like this one. I've gone after Edwards, really hard for a couple of weeks but I almost never go after Obama. Obama is running a pretty clean race (compared to other politicians) so he shouldn't be getting much heat, and I don't see him getting much.

Hillary gets attacked by Obama and Edwards supporters and there is substantial hatred for her on DU. Hillary supporters must be outnumbered 20 to one. Please don't blame the Hillary supporters for all that goes on here. Just some of it.
