he said that Reagan did certain things effectively.

Which is true.

Just like certain other historical leaders have done bad things but have been very effective at getting people to go along with them.

The objective is to get a leader who will do good things, but have the ability to inspire followers as well.

Someone who would do good things if they could, but who can't inspire followers, is not much use.

9. my father`s assessment on ronny

he was a nice guy who sucked up to the rich when he was in high school. he wans`t especially smart but he knew how to play the game to get ahead. he was a roosevelt democrat then converted to marry nancy. after he was shot ronnie basically slept through the rest of his presidency and the boys in the basement took over.

my father went to school with ronnie,bought gin from his brother and worked with ronnie`s dad during the wpa days. ronnie became a roosevelt democrat because of his dad finding a steady job with the wpa
