The debate gives an opportunity for the candidates an opportunity to set the record straight, without being censored by the media. And I hope they use it.

Bash, chide, condemn, criticize, whatever. A rose by any other name still wouldn't have been favorable to the Clinton campaign. The point is that he certainly didn't praise her comments and rebuked the idea of it entirely.

We don't need or want to keep making this diversion the heart of the debate between our candidates. And it would be a stupid and meaningless question to ask anyway. Would any politician of any race or ethical standing answer "yes" to that question? Let's get back to talking about health care and tax policy, and how to deescalate tensions in the Middle East and all the rest of the real issues.

You should learn not to make sweeping accusations in general, and if you really really really are tempted anyway, do an extensive DU search before inserting your foot into your mouth.
