Warner is going to win that senate seat. I'd love to see Warner on a national ticket, but I also know that it isn't going to be this year.

Just as JFK had LBJ, an Obama candidacy will need to be balanced by a more senior, more experienced hand. Particularly one with some foreign policy credentials. Mark Warner brings great executive skills, but that's not what anyone is going to be looking for in a VP, imo. In addition, I think Obama would go for someone with a broader national name recognition.
