1. They took 9 each, but Obama currently has 3 superdelegates from NH...
while Clinton has 2. Of course, as superdelegates can change commitment, that doesn't mean a lot.

3. True
Because right now all of Hillarys Delegates add up to 159, but as you say that can change.

10. Money usually works.
Or promises of appointment, access, etc.

Maybe some inexpensive ego petting.

I'm sure the candidates "have people" to handle that sort of thing.

11. Oh superdelegates get all sorts of promises in exchange for their vote, but...
I don't understand how this is somehow endemic solely to Hillary's campaign.

12. I didn't mean to imply a specific campaign
I'm sure it's endemic to all of them. If "endemic" means "built-in" or "comes with the territory".

All the campaigns will have superdelegate-schmoozing specialists. Clintons typically have exceptional organizations. Not that that makes them better, or worse, just good organizers.

14. Sorry, I should've been specific. I was talking about the post at the beginning of this thread:
"What happened to the theory Clinton was rigging superdelegates to screw Obama?"

That's what I mean when I say I don't understand why it's endemic solely to Clinton's campaign.

Also, endemic:
1 a: belonging or native to a particular people or country b: characteristic of or prevalent in a particular field, area, or environment <problems endemic to translation> <the self-indulgence endemic in the film industry>

2: restricted or peculiar to a locality or region <endemic diseases> <an endemic species>

Learn something new every day, eh? :)

13. Who?
Oh, yeah, Edwards. Thanks for keeping his name alive.

I voted for him, by the way. But in MI, his name is spelled "u.n.c.o.m.m.i.t.t.e.d", since he's not actually on the ballot.

:hi:
