21. I love the stuttering and stammering specially when he does it in the "preacher accent"...
kind of makes me want to call him "MachineGunObama".

33. Yeah I wish he would study some good talking points instead...
of responding from the seat of his pants like that. We would be better off if all the candidates just had their advisor's answer for them.

Edited on Sat Jan-05-08 10:34 PM by TheDonkey
Sorry I mean "mean-spirited comment of the year". It was very rude and unnecessary.

13. Actually, it was.
She did not do herself any favors with that interlude. Came off as a wet blanket and very inside the Beltway.

Or better yet, watch the news and analysis afterwards, and you'll see how bad it was for her.

38. No, this was the point where she basically told Barack Obama
to get a "reality check" and not talk about the reality of his mother having to deal with insurance industry bureaucracy while she was dying from cancer.

12. That was a good line - but her timing was off
She was clearly referring to something that was said earlier, but she said it right after Obama talked about his late mother and Edwards talked about his parents working so hard. It sounded like she was dismissing their personal stories, which I'm sure she wasn't.

17. obviously the little lady should just shut up
and let all the men do the talking.

:sarcasm:

one of the biggest slams against hillary is that she isnt genuine and shes just a pallet thats being molded by her "handlers." But then when she feels strongly about a subject and acts as such, its rude or bitchy or unpresidential. Make up your fucking minds people

24. I disagree
That was the one of the worst lines. I for one am excited about the candidates, I want to believe they can make the big changes. All Hillary did was depress me "False Hopes"..."Reality Check" etc etc. I was psyched to see Edwards so animated. I'm down with Obama/Edwards 08!

28. Here's a reality break: Hillary came in THIRD in Iowa and come in second in New Hampshire
As for her, I thought she looked horrible. The one exchange with her and Edwards showed her to look angry, negative and yes, shrill.

Get real. You have been biased and sexist against Clinton--posting such hate that I have no doubt what your opinon is--but it is just that--a biased negative sexist opinion.

Tell us the reality of how much you changed Mal-Wart when you were on its Board of Directors.

Please, give us a lesson.

What a bitchy comment. This is how women get tagged with that id.

Now they're all following what she started 15 years ago. Get a clue. Stop throwing out random BS. You're making a fool of yourself.

Very solid, good personality. I feel sorry for the the people who think her assertive moment was one of these "Dean Scream, Gore Sighed" things. They feed the beast with that kind of stuff.

42. I think that some of you are the ones who need a reality check.
Edwards was asked to explain what he had accomplished during his 6 years in the senate. She was not deriding Edwards or Obama's personal stories. She was pointing out that Edwards' bill was vetoed by Bush. Of course, the media has a new darling and they'll spin it to suit their narrative.
